Home > Supervision
I offer clinical supervision to trainee and early career qualified psychologists and psychotherapists, at a frequency and commitment period which best suits you. I formulate and practice from an integrative stance, drawing from person-centred, cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, attachment, compassion focused, schema, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive models.
I strive to provide a safe supervisory space involving collaboration, reflection and learning; tailored to your needs. I will bring my clinical experience and theoretical knowledge, and we can explore processes occurring within therapy with your client(s) and your therapeutic relationship with them, including individual/countertransference plus supervisory experiences as appropriate, and review and plan therapeutic interventions and directions. I seek to offer containment and empowerment so you can develop as a therapist and practice with safety and confidence. I also hold the appreciation that as therapists, we concurrently are humans navigating our personal lives and individual experiences of the work we do, and can offer a supervisory space which makes room for this.
I have extensive experience working across clinical settings within the NHS, university, and private sectors. With one foot currently in NHS secondary care services (the other foot in private practice), delivering clinical supervision is a regular part of my job plan. I have particular expertise in supervising practitioners who work with complex clients, such as those with complex PTSD, developmental trauma, and complex emotional needs/personality disorders. These clientele can present with a vast range of clinical comorbidities which I also have experience in supervising.
The fees are £100 for trainees and £120 for qualified practitioners.
